Are government officials in the Philippines allowed to by land and property using government funds?
Are they allowed to do that? Of course what I mean is the property will bought and be owned by the government to be used for projects, and not be owned by Mr. Mayor or Mr. Governor.
Doing a little research on it. Thanks.
What is government supposed to do to help people that live beyond their means?
I don’t understand what the government is supposed to do for people who did take out huge loans, maxed out their credit cards, took on massive student loan debts they can’t pay off, etc. If somebody keeps spending more than they make, the government can’t do anything about it. Even if government could somehow wipe out all the debt, people would still go back on debt.
If we could just teach people to not get into debt and stop buying stuff you can’t afford, it would really help people in achieving realistic goals that they can live out.

How is social conservatism at odds with limited government?
I don’t understand how a ban on abortion would be inconsistent with small government. A woman’s right ends when that right infringes on the rights of someone else and abortion infringes on the rights of the unborn child. By banning abortion, the government is simply protecting the child’s right to life and is therefore, not overstepping its bounds. As for gay marriage, I personally want to get the government out of both gay AND straight marriage altogether, but I don’t think conservatives who oppose gay marriage are contradicting their the principle of small government either. A ban on gay marriage doesn’t mean the government is getting involved in people’s "bedrooms," as many claim and it doesn’t stop gays from living together and having a relationship. It just means their relationship won’t be recognized as a marriage under the law. Besides, one could argue that expanding the definition of marriage to include gay marriage would really be an EXPANSION of the federal government, not a decrease, because it would mean that the government would subject even more couples to its invasive rules about marriage, like rules on inheritance, custody, property, hospital visitation, etc., So, how exactly is this inconsistent?

What is left for the American government to thoroughly bring this country down?
We’ve been in self-destruct mode for at least the past 34 years. What more can our government continue doing or what more can they enact to further our country into 3rd World status?
Also:
We are always so proud of our vets ( from any war they served in ) and we should be! But looking at our society today: wasn’t their contributions futile? Has society let down the vets considering we’ve become what we are today?
Who runs the United States, the government or the huge businesses that make billions?
